Old Stone House

The Old Stone House is one of the heritage places in Brooklyn Heights. This stone house played an important role during the Battle of Brooklyn Heights during the American Revolutionary War.

The current Old Stone House on Washington Park is a replica as the original structure was destroyed in 1897. The reconstruction took place in 1933. Apart from the reconstruction, the Old Stone House was relocated from the original site by about several feet.
