HISTORY BOOK CLUB MEETING

Join the book club in reading and discussing Paris 1919: Six Months That Changed the World by Margaret MacMillan. In this exceptionally well written and fast paced book MacMillan examines the Versailles Peace Conference at the end of World War I. MacMillan focuses not only on the "Big Three" (Wilson, Lloyd George and Clemenceau) but provides an encompassing review of the entire process as well as a detailed analysis of the devastating results of the conference which planted the seeds for World War II. The book club is free and open to all; new members are welcome. At the Jackson Homestead and Museum, 527 Washington Street.
