Nassau Hall in Princeton University

The Nassau Hall is the oldest building in Princeton University. It was built in 1756 to house the College of New Jersey. However, during the Battle of Princeton in 1777, Nassau Hall was part of the battlefield. In 1783, the building became the nation's capital as it housed the Continental Congress. Nassau Hall was also the place when the peace treaty was officially offered by Great Britain was received. 

Today, Nassau Hall is still part of Princeton University and it has undergone several renovations in order to stay relevant to the evolving needs of the University.
