Manhattan Project National Historical Park in Los Alamos

The Manhattan Project National History Park in Los Alamos was the location for designing and manufacturing atomic bombs during World War II. Today, it is known as a National Historical Park to commemorate an important time in American history.

While there are walking tours available, most of the facilities are restricted for public access.

These restricted areas include:

  • Gun Site Facilities
  • V-Site Facilities
  • Pajarito Site
