Abraham Hunt House Marker

20 W State St, Trenton, NJ

The Abraham Hunt House Marker is a reminder of the Continental Army's victory in retaking Trenton from the British Army. It was the house that Colonel Rall had personally chosen as his base of operations. What's left of Abraham Hunt's House is a historical marker to commemorate the First Battle of Trenton. The plaque can be seen on the side of Trenton High School.

The Plaque reads: "COLONEL RALL was entertained on CHRISTMAS NIGHT 1776 in the house owned by ABRAHAM HUNT which stood on this spot. Erected by the TRENTON HIGH SCHOOL class of 1904."
