Please join us at the Peter Rice homestead for Susan Franz's presentation.  This event will be held on September 22, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. at the Peter Rice Homestead,  377 Elm Street (parking across the street in the lot)

Susan holds a master’s degree from Clark University and has taught at several local colleges.   She played a key role in gaining National Park Service recognition for Underground Railroad locations in the  Blackstone River Valley and designed an exhibit on the Underground Railroad for state parks in Massachusetts.
Susan also teaches courses on the abolition and Underground Railroad periods for the WISE program at Assumption College.
