Get the Story straight from Sarah Albee

Sarah Albee, author of the picture book The Painter and the President, will be at the Museum on Saturday, July 18. The event will include a reading of her award-winning book, with insights on her research and process, as well as crafts and a book signing.

She will do a live author reading (with bonus material!) at 1:00 & 3:00, and will be available to sign copies of her book between 2:00 and 3:00. (We have copies for sale in the gift shop, and they will be 10% off on the 18th).

All day long the whole family can get in on the fun, creating and embellishing their own portraits and great works of art!

There is no reservation required, and no additional charge beyond our regular admission costs (admission is always free for museum members!).
