Presented by
ILL-MO Tractor and Engine Club
Labor Day Weekend is a special time in Jerseyville, Illinois, as white tents spring up all around the Colonel William Fulkerson Mansion just north of town. The tents are the temporary quarters for many of the participants in the Jersey County Victorian Festival, an event that promotes "History in Motion" through Civil War reenactments, encampments, agricultural demonstrations, and working crafts, taking a step back in time to view our history and to give visitors an opportunity to get closer to our past.
Stagecoach and buggy rides delight young and old alike and the 1866 Fulkerson Mansion will be open for tours. A large variety of food, refreshments, shopping opportunities, and musical entertainment round out the experience.
