English teacher, author, and baseball enthusiast Greg Rubano shares the wonderful tales of baseball's early days and the exploits of Woonsocket-born and raised Napoleon Lajoie as he captured the imagination of a nation in love with baseball. Lajoie was inducted into the Hall of Fame on June 12, 1939 along with Babe Ruth, Cy Young, Honus Wagner, Grover Alexander, and others.
Here's what the Babe said about Lajoie: "He was the greatest natural hitter of them all."
