The Portsmouth RI Historical Society is delighted to partner with the Daughters of the American Revolution, Battle of Rhode Island Chapter, NSDAR to host this exciting “The American Revolution Experience Traveling Exhibit” from August 21st – August 30th at the Museum. There is something for every history enthusiasts to enjoy! 

Sun. Aug. 23 11 am - 5 pm Theme - Historical reenacting & Material culture

Dirty Blue Shirts - 1:00 pm Living history demonstration of women and their wardrobes 

Susan J. Jerome - 3:00 pm- URI collections manager, historic textiles and costumes collection.
