Visit us at 662 Boston Post Road in Weston, Massachusetts and learn about six generations of the same family living in this house for over 200 years! All Golden Ball Tavern tours are guided by our knowledgeable and experienced docents who share the history of the house and its stories through time and the unique role that the tavern and Isaac Jones played during the Revolutionary War – for example, did you know there was a Weston Tea Party? Or that General Gage’s spies stayed at the tavern during February of 1775 for three nights over the course of more than a week? And what was the story behind the Latten Spoons found hidden in the Tavern’s foundation? Or, why did Paul Revere malign the Jones family by labeling them “Tories” after stopping at the Tavern for breakfast with his men in 1777?

You can visit during a Second Sunday Open House.

Free and family friendly, Open Houses are held on the second Sunday of each month from 1-3 pm, February through November.

You can also visit the museum on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (last admission is at 3.30).  Step back in time and see what it was like to live in colonial days - over 90% of the artifacts, furnishings etc. are original to the family!

We welcome larger groups by arrangement - simply email us at gbtmuseum@gmail.com with details.
