Presented by
Somerville Historic Preservation Commission
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO CURRENT DATE DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER! On this neighbor-led tour of Somerville's Winter Hill and Gilman Square neighborhoods, participants will be able to share stories, insights, and visions about the changing areas. We will start atop Winter Hill outside Summit Apartments (425 Broadway) and will make our way down to Gilman Square, with tasty stops at Winter Hill Brewing (free small coffee for walkers) and Tipping Cow Ice Cream (discounted ice cream for walkers). This event is co-sponsored by the Somerville Historic Preservation Commission, and the Winter Hill and Gilman Square Neighborhood Associations. It is presented as part of May Preservation Month in Somerville and is free and open to all! Jane’s Walk is a global movement for neighbor-led walking tours inspired by urban activist Jane Jacobs.
