The Oakham Historical Museum, 1221 Old Turnpike Road, Oakham, MA will be open on Sunday, September 25 from 1:00-4:00pm. Among the many items displayed on two floors, visitors can also enjoy two special exhibits. Several diaries written by Oakham natives recount their foreign travels, local happenings and daily life. A new display of Native American artifacts, which includes Woodland pottery shards, projectile points, knives and hammer stones, will interest visitors of all ages. Bring the entire family! The Museum is free and open to the public. The diary exhibit and the Native American artifacts will also be on display at the Museum's next open house on Sunday, October 23.
