Fungi of Yuggoth: Lovecraft Lecture by Jason C. Eckhardt

A brief overview of H.P. Lovecraft's sonnet-cycle, "Fungi from Yuggoth," and how the artist approached illustrating it: choices of image, style, medium and inspiration. Illustrations from the project will be shown with explanations for each and brief readings from the poems themselves. This publication of "Fungi from Yuggoth" is the culmination of years of research by noted Lovecraft scholar David E. Schultz, and over a year of research and drawing by local illustrator Jason C. Eckhardt.
