Held in Old Slater Mill, the cotton-mill-turned-museum widely recognized as birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution, Fiber in the Present Tense is a refreshing, evocative, and virtuosic exhibition of contemporary surface design. Slater Mill partners with the MA-RI Chapter of the Surface Design Association to bring the exhibit to the heart of Downtown Pawtucket. Displaying a wide range of mediums, styles, and themes, the exhibition shows the diversity and sophistication of the Massachusetts/Rhode Island regional fiber arts community. The Fiber in the Present Tense exhibition opening will be held at Slater Mill from 5:30 – 8:30 PM on December 7.The exhibit will be up until 01/22/2016
