Visit the Village for a FREE, family-friendly Fall Harvest Festival!
Join us for a free, family-friendly weekend of exploring the East Jersey Old Town Village grounds, including our newly expanded General Store (now with extended hours) and the village’s own locally produced honey. Take your pick of tasty pastries and spreads like apple pie, pumpkin, and cider donuts, homemade jelly, chow chow, crushed olive spread, a variety of fruit preserves, syrup, Farmhouse, and Dilled Pickles, and so much more, all available for sale in 32-oz or 16-oz jars!
This event will also feature outdoor food sales by The Food Architects, offering mouth-watering ready-to-heat meals, including Farro Salad tossed with Butternut Squash, Diced Apples, and Kale in an Apple Cider Vinaigrette, Indian-style corn Succotash with lime beans and Smoked Chorizo, Fall-Style Chicken Stew with Root Vegetables served with Basmati Rice, and Pan-Fried Chicken Schnitzel with a Lemon Aioli over Braised Red Cabbage; YUM!
Learn how to make a charcuterie board during a live demo by Chef Sank and a pumpkin salad by Chef Carolina. Guest will receive complimentary recipe cards; all ingredients can be purchased at the Village’s gift shop.
And what’s a fall harvest without pumpkin picking? We’ve got hundreds of pumpkins waiting for you!
