Hearthside House twinkles in the early evening for guided tours during the season closing on Dec. 27 & 28.

Volunteers have worked for weeks to get ready for this favorite time of year, and the results are displayed in every room from the first floor right to the third floor attic. During these evening tours, guests will learn about the history of the storied home and the different families who lived there for 200 years between 1810-1997. Tours start every half hour and space is limited on each tour, so advance reservations are required. Volunteers dressed in period finery provide the feeling of stepping back in time, while decorations in each room bring the Christmas spirit of yesteryear.

Home for the Holidays takes place on Saturday, December 27th and Sunday, December 28th at staggered times between 4:30-6:30 concluding at 7:45 pm These 75-minute fully-guided tours are geared toward adults and youth over age 12 who have a deep interest in history. Requires climbing stairs and standing.  Gift shop also open during the tours.
