Connections - State Line Cafe' and Mickey Mantle - Art Ditmar - Yogi Berra - An Exhibit of Big Leaguers and their connection with the Berkshires

Berkshire County has been the home to over 40 major league players who were born, raised or settled here. Two of these players are in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. However, there have been many others who spent their time in the minors before taking that step to the majors. The Berkshires had a minor league team on and off for 59 seasons so the list of those players is extensive. This exhibit will list those players but also tell the stories of some famous ones who could say they had been in the Berkshires.
