There will be a brief business meeting followed by at talk by Michael Vose “Seeing the Civil War as it Happened: Through the Eyes of Sketch Artist Alfred R. Waud,” 

Waud has been remembered as the most prolific and talented of the war correspondent artists working during the Civil War. This program introduces you to the artist and his work. Michael Vose, a member of the CWRTNH, authored and will present this compellingly visual program.

Vose, who holds a B.S. in history from Keene State College, is a past president of the Epping Historical Society, where he developed presentations about Epping Governor William Plumer and interpretive signs for the historic trail at Mary Blair Park in Epping. Since 2014, he has served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives.
