Boston Irish Heritage Trail Guided Tour

Boston's Irish Heritage Trail is offering guided tours this summer on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, starting at 2 p.m. at the Visitor Information Center on Boston Common.  The 75 minute tour is led by an experienced tour guide and takes you on 300 years of Boston's illustrious Irish heritage.  Among the topics covered: Irish role in the Revolutionary War and the Civil War; Ireland's Great Famine and its impact on Boston; Irish-American politicians and poets, artists and activists who have helped shape Boston.

You can purchase tickets at the counter in the visitor center the day of the tour.
