By Car:

Parking in Beacon Hill is very limited. Most spaces are reserved for residents, although there are a few 2-hour visitor spaces and 2-hour metered spaces on Beacon Street and Charles Street. The most convenient place to park if you are driving to the Museum is the Boston Common Garage. Please see their website for current rates. The Museum is unable to validate parking.

*Please note: If you are using a GPS device, please confirm your destination as 55 Mount Vernon Street in Boston, not Dorchester.

By Subway:

Take the Red or Green Lines to Park Street Station
Walk through Boston Common to reach Beacon Street (towards the State House)
From Beacon Street, walk up either Joy or Walnut Streets to reach Mount Vernon Street
From Walnut Street, turn right onto Mount Vernon Street
From Joy Street, turn left onto Mount Vernon Street
The Museum is number 55
