Come and see more than 20 horse-drawn sleighs at Old Sturbridge Village’s Antique Sleigh Rally.
The sleigh rally competition will feature vintage sleighs pulled by a variety of horse breeds including Haflinger, Gypsy, Morgan, Arabian, Clydesdale, Percheron, and miniature horses. Participants will compete for prizes in a dozen different divisions including “Sleigh Dog” and “Currier & Ives.”
Plus, visitors can take a horse drawn sleigh ride around the common, go sledding, watch our craftsmen at work, see hearthside cooking, and visit dozens of historic buildings.
Other winter activities include sledding on 1830s-style sleds and horse-drawn sleigh rides around the Common. Warm up by one of the many cozy fireplaces throughout the Village.
The Sleigh Rally is expected to begin at 11:00 AM, weather permitting. The full schedule of events for February 20 here.
