The Always Ready Engine House in the Historic District of Hollis is the oldest Public Building in Hollis c. 1859 and features Greek Revival architecture. Treasures include jail cell, restored town hearse, old tools and fire equipment, Veterans Wall, Grange artifacts, old photos and country store items.

A region-wide celebration of the natural, cultural and historic “treasures” located within the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area, Hidden Treasures 2016 features a unique variety of regional treasures to explore during eight days of creative, community organized and presented activities offered free of charge.
