18th Century Gravestones and Their Carvers in the Bridgewaters: A Treasury of Early American Folk Art in Stone

Vincent Luti, Professor Emeritus at UMass Dartmouth, will present a program on 18th Century Gravestones and their carvers in the Bridgewaters.  The audience will learn about the Bridgewater gravestone carver, Barney Leonard, and others.  Luti is the author of "Mallet & Chisel" and "In Death Remember'd".  He has photographed more than 7000 gravestones in six northeastern states.
